Homework House provides free after-school tutoring and mentoring for children Holyoke, Massachusetts who are at-risk for academic failure and dropping out school.  In one of the poorest neighborhoods in Massachusetts, Homework House gives children a loving and caring environment.  The tutors and volunteers help these children to improve their literacy skills so they can become productive members of their community.  The tutors also work toward rekindling their interests in learning and self-improvement – one page at a time.
