Joslin Diabetes Center - Camp Joslin Campership

The Olivia's Organics Charitable Foundation made a five year commitment to Joslin Diabetes Center to send one diabetic child a year to Camp Joslin, their innovative summer camp.  The unique hands-on education programs at Camp Joslin give kids the tools they need to control their diabetes so diabetes does not control them. 

The winner of the 2007 Campership is Pierce.  A camper since his diabetes diagnosis three years ago, Pierce has thrived at camp, where he learns so much about how to eat healthy and stay physically fit. We also chose Pierce because he and his family are active in community service.  This spring they even won the Presidential Family Community Service Award!
