Make-A-Wish Foundation (2006 and 2007 grantee)

In 2006, Olivia's Organics supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation in three different states: New York, Vermont and Massachusetts.  All of these organizations are member organizations of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America which is comprised of 69 chapters in the United States, as well as 27 international affiliates. 

The mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation is to grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions between the ages of 2.5 and 18 to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. 

Olivia's donations enabled many children to partake of their wishes, two of whom are Stephen and Lindsey.  Stephen, a four year old with leukemia, was able to join his family for a vacation at Disney World where he met Mickey Mouse - his hero!  Lindsey is a 16 year old with Sanfilippo's Syndrome who was able to fulfill a lifelong dream when she was named Zookeeper for a Day at the National Zoo in Washington, DC.
