The Italian Home for Children

The Italian Home for Children is a residential and day treatment facility for the most severely abused, neglected and emotionally disturbed children in the Boston area. The Home provides a safe haven for children so traumatized by abuse that they can no longer function in everyday childhood settings.

The Home gives these young boys and girls the chance to put the pieces of their lives back together by offering individualized therapies, around-the-clock nurturing and assessment/treatment of behavioral and mental health concerns. 

The Italian Home for Children helps to rebuild lives, and, hopefully, fragmented families. The goal is to eventually reintegrate the children back into their schools, families and communities by providing them with the tools they need to cope with their emotional scars.
