Kids Clothes Club

Kids Clothes Club provides warm clothing to children throughout the New England area during the cold autumn and winter months. The Kids Clothes Club was founded as, and to this day remains, a grass roots organization of neighbors helping neighbors who have extended their neighborhood boundaries over the past several years and now serve over one hundred organizations and agencies in the greater Boston area. Some of these agencies include, but are not limited to: Action for Boston Community Development; Associated Early Care; International Institute of Boston; Pine Street Inn and Project Hope. These agencies help low income families, abused children, homeless children, working poor and families in crises.
The recipients of Kid's Clothes Club are mostly children ages preschool to high school. These children generally fall into three categories: 1.) Children whose families are recent immigrants. 2.) Children whose families have suffered a crises such as death, illness or job loss. 3.) Children whose families live in constant poverty.
For fifteen years, The Kid's Clothes Club has been quietly meeting a vital need for the children of New England - keep them warm, give their self-confidence a boost and let them know that people care - all by zipping them into their very own winter coat.
