Official Eligibility Criteria

The Olivia's Organics Charitable Foundation was established in early 2006 as a way to invest in the lives of children.  The Foundation seeks to give direct-service grants to organizations that work with children by providing services that have an immediate and tangible impact on their well-being.  The foundation does not accept unsolicited grants, but instead chooses organizations with which it would like to partner for each quarter of the fiscal year.  Eligibility criteria are listed below.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The organization must provide direct services to children in an attempt to better the quality of their lives.
  • Organizations may focus on services such as medical, educational, therapeutic or otherwise, as long as the child receiving the care feels an immediate and tangible benefit from the service.
  • The organization must be located in the New England, Metro New York/New Jersey or Pennsylvania areas.
  • The organization must be a recognized 501 (c)(3) for at least three years and in good standing with the IRS.
  • The organization must complete the Olivia's Organics Charitable Foundation grant application and due diligence process, including phone interviews and site visits.
  • The organization must be willing to provide the Foundation with statistics regarding the number of children to be aided by the grant money; and, when possible, provide the Foundation with the exact name, age and demographic information for each child served by the grant.
  • At the end of the grant period, the organization must be willing to provide the Foundation with a full accounting of how the grant money was used.
  • The Olivia's Organics Charitable Foundation does not provide operational or start-up funding.  The grant money can only be used for programmatic work.

Unsolicited grant applications to the Olivia's Organics Charitable Foundation are not accepted.  Please do not send a general grant application request form to the organization.  If you would like to make the Foundation aware of the work that you do, please send a one page cover letter and three copies of your organization’s information brochure to:
