Reuse our Packaging

Our 5 oz. salad containers are 100% recyclable, but it's also good for our planet to reuse them around the house.  Below are some of Olivia's favorite ideas for reusing the containers.  If you have a good idea you'd like to share with Olivia, you can email her at olivia@oliviasorganics.org. 

 Sort and store crayons, markers, paintbrushes and other art supplies

 Sort legos, building blocks, and lincoln logs for easy playing and clean up

 Use as handy travel containers for easily lost toys like matchbox cars, jacks and marbles

 Use the lid as a palette for paints during art projects - wash the lid to reuse or recycle it when it gets too dirty

 Cut shapes out of the plastic, then paint and string them together to make a home-made mobile

 Punch holes in the top, add rocks, moss and a bowl of water to make a terrarium

 Fill with pebbles or dried beans, tape the lid shut and, voila!  A home-made maraca

 Store bath toys - punch holes in the bottom so they can drain overnight

 Decorate and use to hold potted plants

 Tape one side of the lid shut, decorate with stickers and sparkles for a jewelry box

 Use as a home-made cash register for play money during pretend grocery shopping
