Joslin Diabetes Center is dedicated to a VISION of a world without diabetes or its complications. Since its founding in 1898, the Joslin Diabetes Center has constantly evolved to meet the ever-changing challenges of diabetes. It is an institution on the front-lines of the world epidemic of diabetes, leading the battle to conquer diabetes in all of its forms through cutting-edge research and innovative approaches to clinical care and education. The people at Joslin have dedicated themselves to the relentless pursuit of their mission:

Olivia's Organics is proud to support Joslin's Pediatric Programs which include Camp Joslin whose motto is "Until there is a cure, there is Camp Joslin." The programs of Camp Joslin combine diabetes education, support and treatment with fun camping, sports and recreation. Children leave Camp Joslin with a better understanding of themselves and their diabetes as well as many memories of fun times with new friends. This positive combination creates an experience for each child that better prepares him or her to take on the multiple challenges of diabetes. Camp Joslin is the only diabetes specialty camp that has completed an Outcomes Research Study that proved participation in its camping programs has a significant impact on campers life-long health.

In 2006, Olivia's Organics sponsored five diabetic children from the Metro New York and New England area to attend Camp Joslin.
